If you're soccer fan and waiting for the world's most popular event WorldCup 2006 in Germany you'll be interested to check the stadiums which will held the competition on Google Map. Unfortunately there won't be live transmission by satellite on Google map for matches otherwise it will be so much fun !
Currently you can click on every city and see some information about the stadium by satellite, map or hybrid. You can also set directions from and to every stadium for example if you are looking for the way to go back to your hotel or from your hotel to the stadium ... But sinceraly I loved the satellite image resolution, slide the zoom to the maximum for Francfort or Berlin and you can even see people working in the stadiums ! Of course the script is written in PHP using the PHP Google Map API.
