Google Analytics was invite only as soon as it was launched, today you can create your own account at Analytics and start tracking your own websites. Analytics is very useful especially related to Google AdWords, but could certainly interest everyone who want to have very accurate results about visits, visitors ... etc. Reminder that Analytics is an enhanced version of the very popular and commercial Urchin, which google have aqcuired to make it available for free.
I'm happy to tell you that we've just removed the wait to receive a Google Analytics account. Now anyone with a website can instantly create one for free by simply by visiting google.com/analytics or by clicking on the "Analytics" tab within AdWords. After you create an account, we suggest reading the Installation Guide to get it set up quickly and correctly.
