Coral Springs, Fl. June 23, 2006 – Host Depot has upgraded its Microsoft (MS) SQL server to MS SQL 2005. This upgrade will allow its current customers using MS SQL 2000, to utilize the upgraded more comprehensive platform, which provides enterprise-class data management with integrated Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
Existing customers who use MS SQL 7.0 will automatically move to MS SQL 2005 with no added cost to their current SQL server plan with Host Depot, while MS SQL 2000 customers will have the option of upgrading. This option, according to previous cases studies reported to Microsoft, will enable those who upgrade to MS SQL 2005 to have a 20% increase in server speed to help improve their business. MS SQL 2005 also offers significant improvements aside from server speed:
