I started in march a study about hosting of AJAX applications, and I received recently some feedbacks from hosting providers so I wanted to provide more explanation why this interest to hosting of AJAX application and what's the difference between other applications ?
In the beginning we remember that websites were made offline using desktop applications then uploaded to server which was serving static content, then came the cgi and all the scripting languages that we know today to make this content generated and served by servers. Today we are talking about rich internet applications, where content is not only generated by server but also in interactivity with the client.
