Visual WebGui is going open source enabling developers to contribute to the Visual WebGui platform, extend it or create a completely different SDK more suited to there needs. Opening the SDK also can help developers gain a better understanding of the inner working of the Visual WebGui platform, enabling them to create better apps. The sourceforge project can be found here http://sourceforge.net/projects/visualwebgui/.

WebGui SDK is what the developer uses when developing WebGui applications, containing most of WinForm/Swing components the WebGui SDK is a familiar ground for a WinForms / Swing developer. Fully supporting WinForms/Swing design time behavior, developers have the same "user experience" developing WebGui as in those two frameworks. WebGui developer is works in an abstraction layer leaving communication and caching optimizations for the WebGui server. WebGui Server optimizes the communication and cache based upon the SDK usage, meaning the developer does not need to deal with the underlining web plumbing.
