Today I find myself inside something like a map with lots of people drawing and writing together, it was a real mess but just amazing !! It's called DoodleBoard, a very new Web 2.0 service where people can communicate with visuals, text, images, work on projects, share their ideas, discuss, chat ... but in its early stages.
Currently you can zoom and navigate inside the board, write and edit text with a small wysiwyg editor, draw images and change colors, upload your photos and add notes, tag everything to make it easily searchable, and finally you can chat with people online. You can watch this screencast and see how it works. At this stage, it look for me like a demo of their beta software, you cannot create your board or share it, there is just one public board where everybody play together maybe great to test performance and see the limit of what it can do.
