Bill Scott posted a long article about Using AJAX for Search Results. A nice article that began with some history, until AJAX and introducing LiveGrid Behavior in Rico.
The two things I noticed against LiveGrid is the scroll bar and the Bookmarking feature. The second one we was talking about it recently and how it could be fixed using anchors #. The problem of scrolling is really annoying for naviguation I don't know how it could be done without it ? Its always a problem with page that have scrollbars, people usually prefer content in a single page.
