Google checkout is the new e-payment solution provided by Google, currently the solution is available only for US based online stores but accept payment from users worldwide. There is a big discussion this year about this new solution as alternative to PayPal and other payment system, especially if Google is more favored to have the largest community worldwide and offer lowest fees.

Google have made a Google Checkout Sandbox for developers to implement this solution in their online store and you can find almost all technical details and information about the implementation in addition to source code to help you easily get started with ready to use code. Google Checkout Samples are available for ASP, PHP, .NET and Java. Google Checkout accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX and Discover.
