The set of tools already implemented are really impressive, possibility to change the whole theme using css, creating shortcuts, an mp3 playlist in addition to message which are checked regulary from server using AJAX. The interface is currently in french and unfortunately there is no localisation possibility to add more languages.
To give it a try, you can check the backdraft demo (update 14/11/06 : demo broken). There is already a default username and password that you can use to access demo. The project is very new that's why many feature are not yet working or still buggy, but the current working modules give an excellent impression. I think to see this project continue it have to be rewritten in a better architecture allowing to add more easily new fonctionnality in addition to localisation. Using name such "1", "2", "3" for files and folders isn't a good way to make a project continue and progress. It's much better to use another standard and keep working on documentation while development of the project.
